Black Gold Motel Conference facility is purpose-built to cater for corporate and professional events large and small. It provides the opportunity to meet and progress your goals in privacy and comfort, and without interruption.

As part of our corporate package we provide technical facilities to a high professional standard, and refreshments to support participants throughout the day. We can set up our large conference venue to suit all types of business events. Coupled with our widely-admired Crib Room Restaurant and our comprehensive range of comfortable executive-style accommodation options, Black Gold Motel is also an ideal venue to extend your business event into a more meaningful team-affirming experience.

We can combine your booking with a formal dinner. In addition your business – or individual attendees – can choose an overnight or longer stay. Company employees or delegates who have travelled considerable distances to attend can be booked into our executive style accommodation as needed. Those who stay on can return to work refreshed after enjoying the local attractions, exploring the Wolgan Valley or taking in the Blue Mountains scenery. If your business event is to run for two days or longer, we are happy to create a complete corporate package including accommodation to best suit you.

Media resources

Our Conference room is equipped with media and technical resources to suit a range of facilitator needs. They include a High Quality Overhead Projector with large screen, Fast Guest Wireless Access, HD multimedia facilities (HDMI), Microphone, Audio, Surround Sound System, Large TV Screen and DVD Player, Whiteboard and Flip Chart.

 The event facilitator is able to connect in direct using their own laptop.

The Conference Centre is a bright space full of natural light. Its large windows look out over the Motel lawns. Directly outside there’s a covered terrace with tables and chairs, a perfect spot for participants to gather during breaks.

There are also great outdoor spaces where people can relax or take a walk. Black Gold Motel has expansive grounds including a large courtyard and lush green gardens and an adjoining grassed area.

There is direct wheelchair access into the conference space via ramps, and wheelchair toilet facilities are at hand.

As Black Gold Motel is a short walk away from Wallerawang town centre, it is particularly quiet and well suited to business development events.

There’s a range of options and conference styles to suit any corporate forum, board meeting, symposium, industry conference, brainstorming session, seminar, group presentation, training programme or team-building event.

If you wish, the Conference Room can be divided into two sections with a foldable wall. There’s good sound separation between the two spaces.

Costs & Options

Our Conference Package is designed to ensure that facilitators and participants are well supported through the day so they can focus on the professional day without distractions.

Room hire: $250 per day.

All bookings include:

  • Free parking
  • Free WIFI
  • Iced water and mints, replenished throughout the day


There’s a choice of two conference refreshment options available:

1. Basic Pack, at $20 per head, provides guests will all their essential needs through the professional day

  • Morning Tea
  • Lunch
  • Afternoon Tea
  • Urn for tea and coffee
  • Notepad and pen for each participant


2. Standard Pack, at $25 per head, delivers value with:

  • All items listed above
  • Barista coffee on arrival, during morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea
  • Our chefs will serve the freshest of platters to high standards
  • All special dietary requirements will be met

Please note that only food from the Black Gold Motel can be consumed on the premises.
